About The Position

We are seeking a dependable, safety-focused Assembler to join our team. In this role, you will assemble cabinets according to established specifications while maintaining high standards for quality, accuracy, and workmanship. The successful candidate will contribute to the success of the company by assuming the following responsibilities: Assemble cabinet parts, panels, doors, drawers, and related components according to work orders and production specifications. Use woodworking equipment, hand tools, and production materials safely and effectively. Read and interpret work orders, labels, drawings, and assembly instructions to ensure accurate production. Handle, load, and move cabinet materials and components with care to prevent damage. Inspect materials and finished components against customer orders, reporting shortages, defects, damage, or other quality concerns as needed. Meet productivity, quality, attendance, and safety expectations while achieving daily production targets. Follow all health and safety practices, procedures, and workplace housekeeping standards. Represent, support, and uphold the company’s Core Values and Management Philosophy. Perform other related duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Ability to read and follow work orders, labels, and assembly instructions.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
  • Ability to safely use hand tools, equipment, and production materials.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Reliable, punctual, and committed to workplace safety.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks, including standing, walking, bending, reaching, and repetitive movements throughout the shift.
  • Comfortable working in a manufacturing environment with exposure to wood dust, noise, varying temperatures, and industrial odours.

Nice To Haves

  • High school diploma, GED, or equivalent is an asset.
  • Previous experience in cabinetry assembly, or a related role is preferred.
