About The Position

The Cabinet Assembler is responsible for assembling various cabinet components into the final product, ensuring adherence to specifications and Tharp quality standards. This role involves installing doors and drawers, inspecting finished products, and working collaboratively with team members and technical advisors to maintain safe and effective production methods. The position requires developing skills, maintaining a clean work area, and processing work in a timely and quality-focused manner.

Requirements

  • Ability to understand verbal and written direction to accomplish specific efforts and tasks
  • Introduced to all production cells, proficient in 2 production Cells for a minimum of 6 months
  • Experience with table saws, drills, staple and nail guns
  • Minimum of 3 months working in the Tharp apprentice program or 1 year working in a similar role in a manufacturing environment
  • Production shop experience required
  • Attention to detail
  • Appreciation for quality

Responsibilities

  • Assemble cabinet components to specification and quality standards
  • Install doors and drawers on finished cabinets using specified hardware
  • Inspect finished product for visual defects and function
  • Perform specific functions as directed by the supervisor to facilitate training and effective output
  • Engage with Team and Technical Advisors to ensure safe and correct methods are used to facilitate requested output
  • Maintain a safe and quality-based effort for all products processed
  • Develop skills and proficiency at assigned tasks
  • Clean up work area each day in accordance with plant safety and house cleaning standards
  • Process work in a timely, quality focused manner
  • Display a basic understanding of the information contained in the Tharp cut sheets and prints
  • Interpret cut sheets, work orders and prints
  • Display a baseline of understanding of the Tharp Quality requirements
  • Work in a team environment
  • Other duties as required
