About The Position

The drivers are responsible for operating cabin service vehicles, including but not limited to Lav trucks, and cabin service trucks and high-lift trucks. They will also support the cleaning agents as needed. This is a full-time, non-exempt position located at Dulles International Airport.

Requirements

Must be 18 years of age or older.
Must have a valid driver's license.
Must be able to communicate in basic English.
Must be able to use computers for training.
Must be willing to work on Saturday, Sunday, and three weekdays for five consecutive days.
Must meet all requirements to receive required airport SIDA badge, and Customs Seal, including successful completion of a background check and ten-year work history.
Must have a valid ABM Aviation Drivers Permit to drive any ABM Aviation or Client Vehicle.

Nice To Haves

1 year of similar work experience.
Previous aviation, aircraft appearance, or cleaning experience.

Responsibilities

Operating cabin service vehicles, including but not limited to rug trucks, cabin service trucks, and high lift trucks.
Tracking and processing work orders using current technology.
Performing equipment Pre-op checks at the beginning of the shift according to the ES&H manual.
Knowing and following all ABM’s and client policies and procedures for operating designated service vehicles and equipment.
Adhering to all ADA and Air Carrier Access Act non-discrimination requirements.
Maintaining a driving record that meets company safety and driving standards.
Establishing and maintaining effective communication and working relationships with co-workers, shift coordinators, supervisors, and managers.
Complying with all safety, security, compliance, and quality standards and procedures established by the Company, Clients, and regulatory authorities.
Assisting in the loading and unloading of trucks at the warehouse.
Assisting in vacuuming and other duties on the aircraft.
Assisting with security searches as needed.
Performing miscellaneous duties as assigned.
