About The Position

The cabin cleaning /Security Agent performs all cabin cleaning / office cleaning and security services as required for different airlines. This includes the removal of blankets and pillows and replacing them with new ones. The role ensures that all cleaning solutions & solvents are stored properly using all required PPE's. The agent is responsible for office cleaning to include but not limited to sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, dusting, wiping down furniture, & empty trash cans. The role also involves conducting physical searches of the aircraft interior and exterior to detect prohibited articles and unlawful interferences, following all TSA, airline, local and/or federal security mandates. Additionally, the agent provides ramp guard services and offsite catering security by inspecting catering trucks and galley carts. The position requires adherence to all safety policies, company uniform and code of conduct, and the Menzies Attendance policy.

Requirements

Ability to perform cabin cleaning and office cleaning duties.
Ability to perform security services for different airlines.
Knowledge of proper storage of cleaning solutions & solvents and use of PPE's.
Proficiency in sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, dusting, wiping down furniture, and emptying trash cans.
Ability to conduct physical searches of aircraft interiors and exteriors.
Knowledge of TSA, airline, local and/or federal security mandates.
Ability to report tampering and prohibited items.
Ability to provide ramp guard services.
Ability to inspect catering trucks and galley carts for security.
Adherence to all safety policies, rules, and directives.
Adherence to company uniform and code of conduct.
Adherence to Menzies Attendance policy.

Responsibilities

Performs all cabin cleaning / office cleaning and security services as required for different airlines.
Removes blankets and pillows and replaces them with new ones.
Ensures that all cleaning solutions & solvents are stored properly using all required PPE's.
Responsible for office cleaning to include but not limited to sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, dusting, wiping down furniture, & empty trash cans.
Conducts physical search of empty interior and accessible exterior of the aircraft to detect prohibited articles and unlawful interferences that may jeopardize the security of the aircraft.
Follows all TSA, airline, local and/or federal security mandates regarding security and reporting any tampering and prohibited items.
Provides ramp guard services to ensure that only authorized personnel are servicing the aircraft.
Provides catering security offsite by fully inspecting catering truck interior and exterior to include galley carts, food trays, vehicle seats, under carriage and glove compartments.
Adheres to all safety policies, rules, and directives.
Adheres to company uniform and code of conduct.
Abides by the Menzies Attendance policy.
