About The Position

Huntleigh USA is hiring part-time Cabin Cleaners at George Bush Intercontinental Airport (IAH) in Houston, Texas. The role helps ensure aircraft are cleaned, sanitized, and prepared for departing passengers while meeting airline operational standards. Team members work efficiently within strict aircraft turnaround times and follow company, airline, safety, and TSA regulations. The position pays $20.00 per hour and offers all shifts with flexible scheduling; open availability is required, and schedules may vary based on operational needs. The work takes place in fast-paced airport and aircraft environments and may involve exposure to cleaning chemicals, aircraft noise, moving equipment, and varying temperatures. Work conditions may be indoors or outdoors. Weekend, holiday, and overtime work may be required as business needs dictate. Requirements

Must be at least 18 years old.
Must have reliable transportation.
Must have a high school diploma or equivalent.
Must be eligible to work in the United States.
Must be able to pass an FBI fingerprint-based background check for airport badge clearance.
Must be able to read, write, and communicate effectively in English.
Must have reliable attendance and punctuality.
Must be able to lift, push, and pull cleaning equipment and supplies; frequently bend, stoop, squat, and reach; and stand and walk for extended periods.
Must be able to work in a physically demanding environment and meet operational deadlines.
Open availability is required; schedules may vary based on operational needs.

Nice To Haves

Previous cleaning, warehouse, hospitality, airline, or other fast-paced work experience is preferred.
Aircraft cleaning experience is preferred but not required.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to workplace safety.

Responsibilities

Clean and sanitize aircraft cabins, including seats, tray tables, lavatories, galleys, and other interior surfaces.
Vacuum carpets and remove trash from aircraft interiors.
Conduct aircraft security searches in accordance with TSA and airline requirements.
Properly handle and dispose of waste materials.
Report safety concerns, damaged equipment, and prohibited items.
Follow established safety procedures when handling cleaning supplies and equipment.
Complete required documentation and incident reports when necessary.
Maintain a professional appearance and comply with company policies.
Perform additional duties as assigned by management.
