About The Position

The Cabin Agent is responsible for cleaning and servicing aircraft to ensure a clean, safe, and well-stocked environment for passengers and crew. This role involves physical labor, attention to detail, and adherence to security and company standards.

Requirements

  • Must possess at least a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • Must pass a criminal background check as well as a drug screen prior to employment.
  • Must have schedule flexibility for the weekend, holiday, and night shifts.
  • Must be able to lift up to 70 pounds in confined spaces.
  • Must be able to stand, lift, bend, push, and pull for extended periods of time.
  • Must be willing to work outside in all types of weather and elevated noise levels within the airport environment.
  • Must be able to speak and be understood, hear, and comprehend the English language.
  • Must be able to stand for long periods of time.
  • Must be able to lift approximately 70 pounds.
  • Must be able to relocate in the event of an emergency.
  • Must have a neat and professional appearance.

Nice To Haves

  • Airport or relevant cleaning experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Lift and carry cleaning equipment, cleaning trays, and cases of supplies to service the aircraft.
  • Clean passenger seating, vacuum floors, and wipe down tray tables to ensure the aircraft is free of debris.
  • Perform aircraft security inspections to comply with government and Company security requirements.
  • Perform a visual inspection of the aircraft to ensure no items are left onboard.
  • Return items left by passengers or crew members to the appropriate authority.
  • Mop galleys of aircraft and dispose of trash in designated dumpsters.
  • Restock magazines, food, beverages, and other supplies on the aircraft.
  • Clean aircraft lavatories and empty waste receptacles.
  • Arrive to work on time and at the assigned post to ensure prompt servicing of the aircraft and on-time departures.
  • Load supplies onto the cabin service truck and return unused supplies to the designated area.
  • Ensure the cabin service supply room is kept in an organized and neat manner.
  • Check inventory to ensure there is an adequate supply of items needed to service aircraft.
  • Greet crew members, flight attendants, and passengers in a friendly manner.
  • Other duties as assigned.
