About The Position
Kalahari Resorts & Conventions is seeking a Cabana Server. In this role, you will be responsible for providing friendly, responsive service to create a beyond expectations beverage and dining experience for all guests. Your professionalism and helpful attitude will set the tone for a positive overall impression of the Kalahari.
Requirements
- Good verbal communication and interpersonal skills are a must.
- Ability to operate a Micros (cash register) terminal and Phone system.
- Must be effective in handling opportunities in the workplace, including anticipating, preventing, identifying and solving problems as necessary.
Responsibilities
- Greet guests, inform them of drink specials, provide menu tours, and recommend items you genuinely feel guests will enjoy and advise any menu changes.
- Take food and beverage orders from guests, enter orders in the point-of-sale system and relay any special dietary needs and special requests.
- Deliver food and beverage orders from kitchen and bar with appropriate service trays to guests in a timely manner, along with the appropriate accompaniments and condiments from service bars.
