About The Position

This position is for the LCAC 100 Program. The C4N Systems Engineer will be the subject matter expert for the engineering command of the U.S. Navy’s Landing Craft, Air Cushion (LCAC) Amphibious Combat Vehicle (ACV) program on-base. This position is critical to the success of FWG’s partnership with the U.S. Navy. This position will manage all command, control, communications, computers, radar, etc.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Electrical, Electronics, Computer, IT/Networking or other related field
  • Active Secret Security Clearance
  • DODM 8140.03 required
  • Ten plus (10+) years of experience in similar subject matter expert role
  • 8Extensive knowledge and in C4N training
  • C4N Training required
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to hold yourself and others accountable on short-term and long-term goals
  • Superior organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks
  • High level problem-solving and communication skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
  • Project management principles and practices
  • Ability to work with various levels of personnel including senior leadership
  • Use of Microsoft Office software applications to include Word, Excel, and PowerPoint

Responsibilities

  • Manage all control, communications, computers, navigation, radar, GPS, antennas, networks and displays
  • Be the engineering subject matter expert for the department
  • Support C4N integration, troubleshooting, repair planning, testing and cyber related documentation
  • Ensure technician reach back, if required
  • Develop and maintain professional, results-oriented relationships that strengthen FWG’s reputation and support positive outcomes through documented communication, timely response, and issue resolution
  • Anticipate customer concerns and engage early to mitigate risk, resolve performance issues, and uphold FWG’s record of quality and reliability
  • Ensure all personnel maintain required certifications, training, and clearance eligibility
  • Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and mission focus across the team
  • Other duties as related to the business functions of FWG Solutions, as assigned
