About The Position

The C2BMC Training Lead is responsible for leading the C2BMC Training Team supporting both Regional and Global Training activities. This role involves representing the C2BMC National Team in the user community, interacting across the C2BMC program and with the MDA customer to prioritize and schedule user training within contractual requirements. The position is responsible for creating training materials and training end users in software application operations and missile defense C2 operations processes for C2BMC required for fielding the systems at Regional or Combatant Command in a multi-contractor team environment. The lead will interface with National Team Functional Areas to define and implement training plans and materials. They will lead Agile planning for the Training team and interact with other product teams to ensure dependencies are captured during Iteration Planning. Maintaining technical proficiency with C2BMC mission applications software is expected to support demonstrations, exercises, Request for Assessments (RFAS), operational and test events. The role also includes providing Subject Matter Expertise as a test engineer for software releases, participating in development team events, conducting testing, and identifying discrepancies or issues. The C2BMC Training Lead will represent the C2BMC National Team in the User community, conduct field training, and manage a train-the-trainer program. Additionally, the role is responsible as a Control Account Manager to ensure, plan, and status work package activity and staffing accuracy. The lead will partner with the Functional Area Manager and Resource Manager to maintain proper staffing levels and provide Training BOE and cost estimation support when required.

Requirements

  • A TS/SCI clearance is required.
  • Experience with the Command and Control, Battle Management and Communications (C2BMC) system and Missile Defense or other similar programs.
  • Experience in adult education with specialties in Web Technologies, e-learning and experience developing e-learning training using Computer Based training (CBT) authoring tools for web-based training and/or Simulation for a large-scale software intensive system.
  • Experienced practitioner in Agile development.
  • Experience in adult learning, education, and/or training.
  • CAM/EVMS experience.
  • Must be a US Citizen for consideration.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience developing training content for web-based and/or computer-based training that support simulation for a large-scale software intensive system
  • Experience with the following tools: Articulate, Adobe Captivate, Adobe Photoshop, and MS Office Suite
  • Security+ Certification
