About The Position

Obsidian Solutions Group (OSG) is seeking a C2 Information Management Specialist to provide technical support and contribute to the improvement, implementation, and maintenance of information systems. This role involves managing user security access, including accounts, logins, access controls, and email accounts. The specialist will also implement internal controls for compliance with internal and external audits, and perform system setup, daily backups, and connectivity tasks.

Requirements

  • Must be a U.S Citizen
  • Security Clearance: Secret
  • Command and Control Personal Computer (C2PC) software experience for instruction and tracking within an exercise control environment
  • Coordination with External Agency IKMO personnel for chat and collaboration environments.
  • Combat Operations Center (COC) IM/KM development.
  • Understanding working group workflow in the development of IKMO planning documents and publications.
  • Operational military experience in IM/KM for GO level staff.
  • Understanding of how to use C2 systems to execute an Information Management Plan (IMP) to support command decision-making, develop an IMP, develop an Annex U, and integrate IM into the MCPP and current operations.
  • Ability to work within SharePoint Online to manage account access and create, manage, and modify content sites.

Responsibilities

  • Develop recommendations to store information and safeguard data flow to speed the commander’s decision-cycle.
  • Collaborate with adjacent and supporting organizations to integrate and employ C2 systems to reduce vulnerability to cyber security threats across networks.
  • Develop assessments and recommendations to apply C2 System best practices from operationally deployed and garrison environments.
  • Support the conduct of analysis and provide recommendations regarding the integration and employment of all Command and Control (C2) systems collaboration required to support operational and future planning, coordination, and execution in support of the MAGTF.
  • Help assess and develop a method for data transfer, storage, and information dissemination that complies with local and enterprise-level IM/KM policies for stakeholders.
