About The Position

CACI is seeking a C-UAS Operations/Research Analyst to support the Joint Inter-Agency Task Force 401 (JIATF401), responsible for leading the Department of War’s Counter-Unmanned Aircraft Systems (C-UAS) effort. The Analyst will work under general supervision with a degree of independence, leveraging technical skills and comprehensive knowledge in C-UAS operations across various warfighting domains to include: Fixed Site (Air Force and Navy Ashore), Maritime (Navy Afloat and Army Watercraft), and Ground (Army and Marines). This role requires expertise in analyzing service-specific requirements, operational concepts, and Tactics, Techniques, and Procedures (TTPs) for C-UAS employment.

Requirements

  • Active Top Secret/SCI Clearance
  • BA/BS with 4+ years; AA/AS with 8+ years; or HS/GED with 10+ years.
  • Experience communicating with senior level leadership in a military environment.
  • Knowledge of current and historical UAS threats.
  • Experience with using technical knowledge to inform/instruct others about the technology, capabilities, and limitations, and impacts to DOW capabilities.
  • Ability to perform independently while in satellite locations and interact with other organizations and military units.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite applications and intelligence related automation to support analytical efforts and product development.

Responsibilities

  • Provide expertise and operational analysis for C-UAS operations across various warfighting domains.
  • Conduct operational analysis of C-UAS threats, vulnerabilities, and capability gaps within assigned domain.
  • Develop and recommend domain-specific C-UAS solutions, integration strategies, and operational procedures.
  • Coordinate with Service component representatives, Joint Staff, and interagency partners to ensure C-UAS capabilities meet domain-specific operational requirements.
  • Support test events, training exercises, and vulnerability assessments with domain expertise.
  • Prepare analytical reports, briefings, and recommendations for senior leaders and stakeholders.
  • Conduct all-source threat analysis and reporting to identify adversarial UAS/C-UAS capabilities, tactics, techniques, and procedures (TTPs), and emerging operational threats.
  • Apply RF knowledge to assess UAS/C-UAS system performance, detection capabilities, signal propagation, and electronic support/electronic attack operations.
  • Support intelligence collection planning and synchronization efforts by identifying collection requirements, analyzing reporting, and integrating multi-source intelligence into operational assessments.
  • Conduct Red/ROVER-style operational analysis and threat replication activities to validate C-UAS system effectiveness, sensor performance, and operational readiness against realistic adversarial UAS tactics.
