About The Position

The Cashier is the face of the store and provides exceptional customer service to help every guest have a positive shopping experience. The role involves greeting customers, supporting retail sales, and processing point-of-sale transactions accurately. The successful candidate is friendly, dependable, customer-focused, communicates effectively, and performs well under pressure. They should be able to multitask, remain composed in a fast-paced environment, and work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays on a rotational basis. The role also involves maintaining the appearance and cleanliness of the store and gas pumps, stocking, and contributing to a positive team environment. The position has no supervisory responsibilities.

• Valid Alcohol Awareness Card.
• Ability to read and interpret documents in English, including safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
• Ability to read and communicate verbally in English; written communication skills in English may also be required.
• Ability to apply common-sense understanding to carry out written, oral, or diagrammatic instructions and deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
• Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 45 pounds.
• Ability to stand, stoop, lift, wipe, reach, and type without assistance from others.

Responsibilities
