About The Position

KBR is searching for an experienced C++ Programmer to study, design, prepare specifications, and perform services related to electrical and electronic systems. KBR is looking to add a C++ programmer to our Beavercreek Team. The ideal candidate will perform a variety of engineering work in the development of an operable system capable of meeting requirements within imposed constraints including mass, cost and schedule. They will design and/or research subsystem interfaces to ensure that subsystems are integrated and work together to form a viable complete system. The candidate will also perform functional analysis of a system to ensure it meets performance criteria and mission constraints and to feed the analysis results back to the subsystem development teams.

Requirements

• Focused (2 years or more) experience in writing code using C/C++ and Unix; including templates, STL, C++14/17.
• Enhanced leveraging of web development tools for new applications
• Strong understanding of RDBMS databases, testing tools, methodologies and modern SCM
• Advanced knowledge of testing tools, methodologies and modern SCM

Nice To Haves

• Proficient in defining quality and security standards with strong database administration skills.
• Keen insight into data structures & algorithms, network stack (CPU, NIC, PCIe, and related drivers)
• Ability to integrate other development languages, including Java, Python, or Perl and shell scripts a plus.
