About The Position

Mary Wade Home is currently hiring for multiple positions in our Skilled Nursing Unit & Assisted Living Community. Our Skilled Nursing Unit consists of 94 beds of a combination of Long Term Care and Short Term Rehab. Our Assisted Living Community, Chatham Place at Mary Wade, has 84 apartment-style rooms of 1 bedroom or studio apartments. Chatham Place is the Assisted Living / Memory Care Community that is part of Mary Wade. The community includes 84 units, a combination of one bedroom and studio apartments. 20 units are Memory Care and the rest are traditional Assisted Living. We have a bistro, a salon/spa, a fitness center and a rooftop terrace! At Chatham Place at Mary Wade, residents can live in either independent living, memory care light or traditional light. We strive to deliver the highest quality clinical care with deep compassion and empathy for long term care and short term rehab. Due to excellent patient to aide ratios, we take the time to talk with, and listen to, those we care for and do whatever it takes to get the job done. Our goal is to create moments of joy as often as possible. Listening to understand, demonstrating kindness, concern and tender loving care are part of our core practices. Stringent infection control guidelines are followed to ensure resident and employee safety. Our resident population is primarily seniors with varying levels of acuity. For 156 years, we have been serving the Greater New Haven senior community. We are a mission-focused non-profit, governed by a Board of Trustees.

Requirements

• MUST HAVE A CURRENT CT C.N.A CERTIFICATION
• Prior Certified Nursing Assistant experience in a skilled nursing facility or assisted living community is preferred
• CPR certification is not required
