About The Position

ISD #2687 has the following Volleyball coaching position available for the 2026-27 school year: C Girls Volleyball Coach. Applicants should possess a strong volleyball background, great communication skills and positive leadership qualities. The job goals are to instruct athletes in the fundamental skills, strategy and physical training necessary for them to realize a degree of individual and team success. At the same time, the coach must instruct and demonstrate behaviors that lead to socially acceptable character development, self-discipline, self-confidence, and pride of accomplishment in the student athletes. The coach is also responsible for upgrading his/her knowledge and skills through coaching clinics, observations, consultation, etc. Public Relations include organizing parents, coaches, players and guests for preseason meetings. The coach will promote volleyball within the school and outside of the school through news media, traveling programs, or in any other feasible manner. The coach is responsible for maintaining good public relations with news media, booster club, parents, officials, volunteers and fans.
