About The Position

Our client is looking for a C# Developer to join their team in NYC. This role involves hands-on programming with a focus on Object Oriented Programming, Design patterns, Service Oriented Architecture, Concurrency, and SOLID principles. The developer will also be responsible for owning large software systems, managing the end-to-end application lifecycle, and performing build vs buy analysis.

Requirements

• A Bachelor's Degree, Graduate Degree preferred
• 5+ years of hands on programming experience with an understanding of Object Oriented Programming, Design patterns, Service Oriented Architecture, Concurrency, and SOLID principals
• Hands on experience with .NET, including C#, ASP.NET MVC, and ASP.NET WEB API
• JavaScript experience
• 3+ years of relevant experience working in FinTech; familiarity with Capital Markets
• Experience with enterprises databases
• Understanding of continuous delivery tools
• Excellent communication skills

Responsibilities

• Own one or more large software systems and manage end-to-end application lifecycle
• Perform build vs buy analysis in conjunction with business users and technology peers
