About The Position

We’re seeking someone to join our team as a C++ Developer in Fixed Income Cash & Foreign Exchange (FICFX) to design and deliver high-performance, resilient infrastructure platforms that support the full lifecycle of Fixed Income trade processing. In the Technology division, we leverage innovation to build the connections and capabilities that power our Firm, enabling our clients and colleagues to redefine markets and shape the future of our communities. This is a Software Engineering III position at Director level, which is part of the job family responsible for developing and maintaining software solutions that support business needs. Requirements

  • 5+ years of strong C++ development experience
  • Strong knowledge of SQL, Unix/Linux environments, and shell scripting
  • Experience building and supporting real-time, multi-threaded, mission-critical systems, with knowledge of application server development, data processing, systems integration, data persistence, transactional systems, and distributed architectures
  • Experience with messaging, pub/sub, or market data distribution platforms
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills, with the ability to perform in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with global teams
  • Experience using AI tools or AI agents across the software development lifecycle to enhance development, testing, debugging, engineering efficiency, and quality practices, including test automation and CI/CD
  • Knowledge of French and English is required.

Nice To Haves

  • Knowledge of Fixed Income products, trading systems, and networking is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Design and develop robust, scalable C++ applications for mission-critical trade processing
  • Work closely with users and engineering teams to gather requirements and define effective technical solutions
  • Build and maintain efficient, resilient platforms supporting the full trade lifecycle (pricing, inventory, P&L, operations, risk, and reporting)
  • Integrate systems and enable reliable data exchange across distributed environments
  • Partner with teams across engineering, operations, and production management to support live systems and resolve issues
  • Ensure systems scale to meet growing business volumes and performance demands
  • Contribute across the development lifecycle, including design, coding, testing, review, and production support
  • Use modern engineering tools, including AI-assisted development and testing tools, to improve productivity, code quality, and delivery outcomes
