About The Position

The C/C++ Developer will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining a CI/CD framework for the application. This role involves isolating application defects, testing system performance with production data, and providing tactical and technical support. The developer will also understand the impact of technical decisions on adjacent systems and develop tools and infrastructure to enhance engineering team velocity and ensure high-quality code delivery. Additionally, the role requires acting as a technical and functional point of contact for projects and coaching others on architectural standards.

Requirements

8+ years of experience.
Proficiency in C++.
Proficiency in C.
Experience with Linux platforms.
Experience maintaining, supporting, and enhancing high throughput, distributed, real-time transaction processing applications.
Experience working in a 24x7x365 production environment.

Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain a CI/CD framework for the application.
Isolate application defects effectively and provide specific conditions for reproducibility.
Leverage production data to test system performance.
Provide tactical and technical support on tasks.
Understand impact on adjacent systems as well as short- and long-term impact of technical and functional decisions.
Develop effective tools and infrastructure to test complex, large-scale distributed systems.
Design and build tooling and infrastructure to help engineering teams measure and increase their velocity.
Ensure high-quality code is delivered that meets specifications and customer requirements.
Proactively identify opportunities to improve delivery of daily work.
Act as technical and functional point of contact for projects or subsets of internal business systems projects.
Coach and mentor others in application, platform, and global architectural standards.
