C-17 Logistics Technician
About The Position
C-17 Training Systems is currently seeking a C-17 Logistics Technician to support the C-17 Training Systems (TS) which includes areas such as Maintenance, Aircrew/Maintenance Training Devices, Courseware, Information Technology, and Engineering. This role is located at Altus AFB, Oklahoma. The C-17 Training Systems program has 17 locations within the Continental United States (CONUS) and 1 Outside the Continental United States (OCONUS) location, supporting over 70+ trainers. This position will provide logistics support through general logistics functions, including but not limited to, Shipping and Receiving, Inventory Control, Logistics Analysis, Asset Management, Procurement, Excess Government Equipment Disposal, Obsolescence, Sustainment and Concurrency, and Contract Data Requirements (CDRLs).
Requirements
- Experience in logistics, supply support, supply chain and/or military supply experience
- Experience in Microsoft Excel data analysis to include pivot tables and charts
- Experience in data analysis, trending, and reporting
- Ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship.
- An interim and/or final U.S. Secret Clearance Post-Start is required.

Responsibilities
- Provide logistics support to manage, maintain, and support the C-17 Training System (e.g. Training devices, courseware, software, firmware, spares, and their support centers).
- Maintenance of inventory storage and control
- Provide, manage, maintain, dispose and update GFE/GFP
- Manage Logistics Spares Packages
- Manage asset inventory control and storage
- Execute quality audits as required
- Attend virtual and in-person program meetings
- Attend Engineering Design Reviews and provide guidance and input
- Distribute and Manage assets on and off site
- Logistics analysis to include but not limited to; predictability, consumption rates, failure rates, etc.
- Identification and management of Supply Chain Risk Management issues through DMSMS practices
- Acquisition of all replenishment or replacement assets and asset repairs
- Disposition and disposal of obsolete and condemned assets
- Obsolescence Management and Reporting
- Development and management of logistics data
- Material packaging, handling, storage and transportation
- Development and delivery of Contract Data Requirements Lists (CDRLs)
- Communicate, direct and manage requests to and from multiple subcontractors
- Assist Facility Manager with taking out trash and various tasks such as replacement of light bulbs within 10 ft
