About The Position
The C-130 Flight Engineer participates in aerial firefighting missions, Functional Check Flights (FCF), Maintenance Check Flights (MCF), and Acceptance Check Flights (ACF). Other duties include but are not limited to: attend annual the C-130 Air Tanker Flight Engineer training program, participate in aircraft ferry missions (both intrastate and interstate) as directed.
Requirements
- C-130 Flight Engineer-2000 hours
- C-130 Flight Engineer Experience-2 years
- Possess FAA Flight Engineer Certification or military equivalent
- Must have a valid/current FAA 2nd Class Medical Certificate w/ECG endorsement (if over 40 years of age)
Nice To Haves
- Previous aerial firefighting experience preferred
