About The Position

This role provides administrative operational support for the Senior Buying Office Staff, focusing on Gift, Home, and Hardgood products. The Buying Office Assistant will be responsible for defining items, entering purchase orders, pulling essential reports for buyers, and assisting with communication and execution to the stores. The position also involves item management on Bachmans.com, handling seasonal markdowns, assisting with replenishment operations, and supporting the Senior Buyer in PO writing and product distribution. Additionally, the role includes ordering office supplies.

Requirements

  • Advanced administrative skills; including Microsoft Office Suite products.
  • High degree of organizational skills required.
  • Must be able to compute margins, markups, costs and discounts.
  • Good ability to prioritize and manage time.
  • Communicate effectively with Bachman's stores and departments.

Nice To Haves

  • Four year degree preferred.
