About The Position

This role is responsible for purchasing and financially managing packing and operating supplies for Bachman's, working with Gift, Home and Hardgood products. The Buying Office Assistant will provide administrative and operational support to the Senior Buyer, including setting up items and vendors, entering purchase orders, and assisting with communication and execution to the stores. The position also involves merchandising products on the website, managing markdowns and promotional pricing, assisting with replenishment operations, and ordering office supplies.

Requirements

  • Advanced administrative skills; including Microsoft Office Suite products.
  • High degree of organizational skills required.
  • Must be able to compute margins, markups, costs and discounts.
  • Good ability to prioritize and manage time.
  • Communicate effectively with Bachman's stores and departments.

Nice To Haves

  • Four year degree preferred.
