About The Position

Our client in the Everett, WA area has an opening for a Buyer. The client runs a full-service precision machine shop that specializes in complex operations and serves the Aerospace sector. Keltia is a technical support services company providing Engineering Design, CAD Training along with Specialized Technical Recruiting services to mainly the aerospace and other industries in WA State, around the US, Canada and Europe. We have been in business for over 22 years in the US. The successful candidate must be able to request quotations and place purchase orders to vendors for client specific aircraft modification programs involving structures, mechanical systems, electrical systems, interiors and furnishings, tooling, and hardware.

Requirements

• Experience in purchasing for aircraft modification programs.
• Knowledge of aircraft structures, mechanical systems, electrical systems, interiors and furnishings, tooling, and hardware.
• Ability to coordinate with engineering and design staff.
• Ability to coordinate with IT personnel for software purchases.
• Experience in purchasing miscellaneous office supplies.

• Experience in a full-service precision machine shop environment.
• Experience serving the Aerospace sector.

Responsibilities

• Request quotations and place purchase orders to vendors for client specific aircraft modification programs involving structures, mechanical systems, electrical systems, interiors and furnishings, tooling, and hardware.
• Be proactive in helping grow client’s approved vendors to ensure competitive pricing and schedule are maintained.
• Coordinate with client's engineering and design staff to ensure the parts being designed and specified for specific programs are obtainable.
• Coordinate with IT personnel for the purchase of new software programs, and annual license fees for existing software programs.
• Purchase miscellaneous office purchases.
