About The Position

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Effective interpersonal and customer relation skills
• Experience working with computers and software systems, including Microsoft Office and purchasing systems
• Compiling statistics and researching and providing information in spreadsheet format.
• Knowledge of purchasing policies and procedures.

Nice To Haves

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
• At least one year previous experience as a buyer, preferably in a hospital setting.

Responsibilities

• Researches and acquires a variety of materials, equipment and services according to the organization’s guidelines for cost, quality and delivery.
