About The Position

This position is responsible for procuring inventory stocked at both our Grand Rapids and Indianapolis warehouse locations. Primary responsibilities include procuring inventory from multiple warehouses, approving system recommendations for inventory replenishment, analyzing data across multiple ERP systems (SAP, CloudeSuite (CSD), AS400) for accuracy and completeness, and analyzing, regulating, and expediting inventory using various SQL reporting tools. The candidate will play an integral role in ensuring we deliver the highest-quality goods and services at the lowest cost while building strong relationships with our supply chain partners.

Requirements

  • Associate’s Degree
  • Strong mathematical skills
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office (Outlook, Teams, Excel, Word)
  • Exemplary communication skills, which include the ability to communicate clearly and concisely, verbally and in writing
  • Ability to communicate and negotiate effectively with the worldwide supply base
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and have discerning attention to details
  • Keeps a customer focus when developing ideas/solutions
  • Self-motivated and disciplined

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with Inventory Control Systems or ERP systems is a plus
  • Experience with MS SQL beneficial

Responsibilities

  • Timely follow-up on PO confirmation and input of the current product due date.
  • Filling backorders in a quick, cost-effective, and efficient manner.
  • Analyzing, regulating, and expediting inventory utilizing various reports, finding solutions to increase customer satisfaction
  • Work closely with Accounts Payable, the Receiving warehouse, and Reverse Supply Chain on invoice/receipt discrepancies
  • Procurement of inventory stocked in multiple warehouses
  • Approving system recommendations for inventory replenishment
  • Analyzing data within multiple ERP systems (SAP, CloudeSuite (CSD), Power BI, AS400) for accuracy and completeness
  • Performing impact analysis of cost changes and recommendations.
  • Ensuring we deliver the highest-quality goods and services at the lowest cost while building strong relationships within our supply chain.
  • Being vocal when recurring trends or issues with the vendor base.
  • Maintaining vendor item and vendor contact data integrity within our ERP.
