Requirements

Must be able to analyze data to make an educated, informed decision.

Responsibilities

Purchases, plans and expedites components for use in the manufacturing process and operation of the business.
Qualifies and approves vendors of services and products; negotiates and maintains pricing based on volume, quality, and on-time delivery.
Be the centralized control of purchase orders, revisions and tracking orders.
Contributes to the process of developing standard costs for product lines, with a primary role of continually reviewing market conditions for long and short-term price reductions.
Maintains daily, monthly, and to-date reports including product codes and product groups.
Must be able to analyze data to make an educated, informed decision.
Continuously reviews key performance indicators relating to critical parts not on hand, inventory turns, purchase price variance, freight variance, volume of short lead to full lead time orders.
Works with the Scheduling, Production, and Sales Departments to determine material purchases, priorities and maximize customer satisfaction.
