About The Position

To execute purchase-to-pay activities in accordance with procurement policies and procedures while supporting operational stakeholders across multiple sites. This role ensures materials and services are procured efficiently, compliantly, and through preferred supplier channels, while identifying opportunities for cost savings, process improvement, and sourcing support.

Requirements

  • Diploma, Certificate, or equivalent experience in Supply Chain, Procurement, Business, or related field
  • 1+ years of experience in procurement, purchasing, logistics, supply chain, or operations support
  • SAP experience preferred or similar ERP system, strong Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office skills
  • Successful candidates must adhere to all safety protocols and proper use of Amrize approved Personal Protection Equipment ("PPE"), including but not limited to respirators. Employees that are required to wear respirators must be clean shaven where the respirator seal meets the face in order to pass the qualitative and quantitative fit tests
  • A pre-employment medical, including drug and alcohol testing and a criminal record check will be required.

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, Logistics, or related field
  • Power BI and reporting experience is an asset
  • Construction, manufacturing, mining, or industrial operations, RFQs, supplier negotiations, or sourcing support

Responsibilities

  • Support operational teams by ensuring timely procurement of materials and services
  • Improve compliance with procurement policies, buying channels, and preferred supplier strategies
  • Help identify cost-saving opportunities and supplier alternatives
  • Improve purchasing efficiency by resolving procurement and invoice-related issues
  • Support sourcing initiatives and contribute to procurement-driven value creation
  • Build strong stakeholder relationships and position procurement as a trusted business partner
  • Demonstrate a commitment to communicating, improving and adhering to health, safety and environmental policies in all work environments and areas. Promote a culture of safety and exhibit these behaviours.
