About The Position

We are looking for an experienced, self-motivated Buyer to manage our day-to-day procurement operations and supplier relationships. In this role, you will take ownership of sourcing materials, mitigating supply risks, and ensuring our manufacturing schedules run smoothly.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, or Operations (or equivalent hands-on experience).
3+ years proven experience in purchasing, procurement, or supply chain within a manufacturing environment.
Prior success managing vendor relationships, component lifecycles, and performance issues with minimal supervision.
Strong proficiency with ERP/MRP systems and advanced Excel data analysis.
Great negotiation, communication, and proactive problem-solving skills.
Candidates must reside within commuting distance of our Boulder, CO office. Relocation assistance is not available. Only local candidates will be considered.

Responsibilities

Manage Purchasing & MRP: Oversee purchase orders, balance inventory levels against production needs, and use data to proactively spot shortages or demand changes.
Build Strong Supplier Partnerships: Act as the primary contact for vendors, leading regular check-ins, driving accountability for quality and delivery, and negotiating favorable terms.
Lead Supplier Quality & Onboarding: Partner with Quality and Engineering teams to qualify vendors, manage corrective actions, and track performance metrics.
Handle End-of-Life (EOL) & Supply Risks: Identify material risks early, manage component lifecycles, and coordinate last-time buys or alternate sourcing strategies.
Drive Commercial & Data Insights: Leverage ERP systems and advanced Excel capabilities (pivot tables, lookups) to analyze trends, reduce costs, and optimize processes.
