About The Position

The Buyer supports purchasing operations by working with vendors to obtain quotes and facilitate purchases of identified products and materials. The role records goods ordered and received, assists with accounts payable reconciliation, and prepares reports and correspondence as needed. The Buyer works under the direction of the Procurement Manager.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Communication skills required.
• Organizational skills required.

• Related experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Call vendors to gather quotes for identified products and materials at the direction of the Procurement Manager.
• Record goods ordered and received.
• Assist with accounts payable reconciliation.
• Facilitate purchases with vendors at the direction of the Procurement Manager.
• Prepare reports and correspondence as needed.
