We are currently seeking a full-time, in office, Buyer for our West Jordan, UT location! The Buyer is responsible for sourcing, purchasing, and managing materials to support operational and production needs. This role ensures timely delivery, competitive pricing, and accurate order management while maintaining strong supplier relationships. The Buyer monitors demand, places purchase orders, tracks open and overdue orders, and proactively resolves supply issues to prevent disruptions.

Requirements

  • Strong attention to detail
  • Able to manage multiple priorities in a Fast-Paced environment
  • Experience working with ERP systems (SAP or similar)
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other data tools

Nice To Haves

  • 2+ years of experience in purchasing, procurement, or supply chain operations preferred

Responsibilities

  • Analyze demand signals and place purchase orders to support production and operational needs
  • Manage the lifecycle of purchase orders, including tracking, expediting, and resolving delays or discrepancies
  • Monitor open and overdue orders, proactively communicating with suppliers to ensure on-time delivery
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date purchasing data within ERP systems (e.g., SAP)
  • Collaborate with planning and operations teams to align purchasing activities with production schedules and forecasts
  • Support inventory management efforts by balancing stock levels, minimizing excess, and preventing shortages
  • Identify potential supply risks and implement mitigation strategies, escalating issues as needed
  • Evaluate supplier performance and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and procurement best practices
