About The Position
My client is a leading musculoskeletal device company hiring a hands-on Buyer to support a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This role partners closely with Manufacturing, Planning, Engineering, Quality, and AP to ensure materials and services are delivered on time and at the best value.
Requirements
- 1–5 years of purchasing experience (manufacturing required; medical device preferred)
- Strong negotiation skills
- ERP experience (SAP/Oracle/JDE/Dynamics a plus)
- Excel proficiency
Responsibilities
- Manage purchase requisitions, RFQs, and POs
- Negotiate pricing, lead times, and supplier terms
- Support vendor selection and performance management
- Expedite orders and resolve delivery/invoice issues
- Drive cost analysis and inventory optimization
- Maintain ERP data integrity
