Requirements

  • Integrity. Holds oneself and others (internal stakeholders and external vendors) to high ethical standards. Leads by example
  • 3+ years’ experience in procurement or supply chain
  • Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) experience with SAP desirable, or another ERP system
  • Highly proficient in Microsoft Office, specifically Excel
  • Strong organizational ability and excellent attention to detail
  • Ability to be both fast and accurate in a high-volume setting
  • Ability to multitask; follow-up on pending issues; and meet deadlines

Responsibilities

  • Demonstrate safety as a core value and establish a safe work environment by actively leading the safe execution of work
  • Obtain supplier quotations and commercial evaluations.
  • Expedite deliveries and resolve supplier issues.
  • Execute sourcing events and negotiations.
  • Maintain procurement documentation and SAP data.
  • Support operations, maintenance and engineering.
  • Secure cost savings for Biron mill the above actions.
