About The Position

In this role, you will be responsible for supporting the procurement process, managing vendor relationships, and ensuring efficient inventory management. Assist in the procurement of goods and services, ensuring cost-effectiveness and quality standards are met. Analyze market trends, pricing, and supplier performance to identify opportunities for cost savings. Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand and fulfill purchasing requirements. Maintain accurate records of purchases, pricing, and other relevant data in the ERP system. Negotiate with vendors to secure favorable terms, pricing, and delivery schedules. Prepare and analyze reports on purchasing activities, inventory levels, and supplier performance. Monitor inventory levels and assist in forecasting future needs. Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures in all purchasing activities. Assist in the evaluation and onboarding of new suppliers. Contribute to process improvement initiatives within the procurement department. Demonstrate knowledge of supply chain, inventory, and vendor management principles while applying strong analytical, communication, time management, and data reporting skills with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail. Be self-managed, detail-oriented, and capable of performing under pressure. Follow all plant, ESH, CBS, quality, and department processes and procedures. Other duties as assigned. NOTE: May not be inclusive of all work required and may be updated as needed.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or related field
  • 1-3 years of experience in purchasing, procurement, or a related field
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, with advanced Excel skills
  • Experience with Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems
  • Must be able to work on-site
