About The Position

The Buyer works within the Infrastructure Procurement department and reports to a Supervisor/Manager. The role supports and executes procurement activities, primarily for service segments related to repair and maintenance, time-and-material agreements, and equipment purchasing. Responsibilities include sourcing, negotiation, and collaborating with internal customers and external vendors to reach mutually agreeable, cost-efficient business agreements. The Buyer manages internal and external relationships, including those with vendors and third-party logistics providers, and represents Samsung with honesty and professionalism. The position focuses on project-based procurement that facilitates service agreements and helps end users identify effective, cost-efficient solutions. Duties may change based on company needs.

All positions at Samsung Austin Semiconductor are full-time and on-site. The current base salary range is $84,000–$135,000. Total compensation includes a competitive benefits package and may include participation in incentive compensation programs.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
• At least 3 years of related experience.

Nice To Haves

• CPM, CPSM, or CPIM certification.

Responsibilities

• Source and negotiate pricing and terms.
• Facilitate procurement workflows.

• Provide regular reports to management.
