About The Position

Safran Trusted 4D Inc. is seeking a Buyer/Planner to join their growing team in West Henrietta, NY. The company is a world leader in Resilient Positioning, Navigation and Timing (R-PNT) technology, providing virtually fail-safe GNSS and PNT solutions for defense and commercial applications. They manufacture precise synchronization clocks for data centers and GNSS simulators for testing PNT equipment. Requirements

3+ years experience in a Supply Chain, Procurement, Sales, or Business related position.
Experience and knowledge of using SAP or similar ERP systems, order management, inventory management, etc.
Proficient in Microsoft Excel for data analysis and RFQs.
Excellent communication, interpersonal, organizational and attention-to-detail skills.
Ability to learn quickly, adapt to change, work independently, and document work effectively.

Nice To Haves

Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Accounting or a related field preferred.

Responsibilities

Placing and managing orders to support forecast and production orders
Managing supplier relationships and ensuring On-Time Delivery (OTD), High Quality, and Cost are maintained
Building and creating commodity strategies that support business objectives
Working cross-functionally to support New Product Introduction (NPI) Projects
Maintaining queues that directly impact order placement, acknowledgement, delivery, part set up, etc.
