Requirements

5-7 years of experience in purchasing, planning, supply chain, or materials management within a manufacturing environment.
Demonstrated experience utilizing ERP/MRP systems to manage planning and procurement activities.
Experience supporting manufacturing operations and production scheduling requirements.
Proven ability to manage suppliers, resolve shortages, and maintain supply continuity.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
Ability to work independently and drive issues to resolution with minimal supervision.
Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.
Reads and understands complex written technical documents, proposals, business communications.
Speaks and writes fluently English and persuasively across different professional settings.
Tailors communication style for different audiences.
Able to edit and review others' written work for clarity, grammar, and tone.
Applies ratios, proportions, and basic algebra. Interprets charts, graphs, and simple data sets. Ability to use formulas for measurements, cost estimation, or budgeting.

Responsibilities

Take ownership of material planning and purchasing in a fast-paced dynamic manufacturing environment.
Drive planning decisions using ERP/MRP systems to ensure uninterrupted manufacturing operations.
Manage supplier performance.
Resolve shortages proactively.
Balance inventory with service requirements.
Lead cross-functional collaboration by partnering with Manufacturing, Operations, Engineering, Quality, and Customer Service to meet business objectives.
Identify and mitigate supply chain risks before they impact production.
Drive continuous improvement by enhancing planning and procurement processes to support our growing business.
