About The Position

The position of Buyer III involves assisting the Buying Team in expanding the product selection by setting up new vendors and items, managing pricing, and maintaining the product catalog. The role involves coordinating new product launches, maintaining product costs and retail prices, managing content and images, building vendor relations, and assisting with special projects.

Requirements

• Strong organization skills with attention to detail.
• Self-motivation and ability to work independently.
• Proficiency in computer skills, including Excel, Word, Access, and PowerPoint.
• Understanding of data management and databases.

Responsibilities

• Set up new vendors and items to expand product selection.
• Maintain the product catalog, including managing pricing, content, and images.
• Coordinate new product launches and ensure all aspects are aligned.
• Maintain product costs and retail pricing strategies.
• Foster and maintain strong vendor relations.
• Assist with special projects as needed.
• Support and provide training as a backup to the Control Buyer.
