About The Position

North American Lighting (NAL), a member of the Koito Group of Companies and a leading North American automotive exterior lighting manufacturer, is seeking a Buyer - II. The role focuses on strategic sourcing of assigned commodity parts and negotiating supplier contracts that meet or exceed supply, material quality, and commercial objectives. The Buyer supports supplier selection and new program launches involving new and existing materials and suppliers.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Business or a related discipline.
• 3–5 years of professional experience in direct purchasing, supplier negotiations, and managing the supply base after negotiations.

Nice To Haves

• Degree in Engineering or Supply Chain Management.

Responsibilities

• Conduct strategic sourcing for assigned commodity parts.
• Draft sourcing recommendations for award, summarizing bid history and justifying the selected bidder.
• Analyze, negotiate, and issue requests for quotation (RFQs) to suppliers for new and existing materials, supply contracts, and services.
• Work with Supplier Quality Engineering on source selection.
• Support new program launch activities involving new and existing materials and suppliers.
