About The Position

Join a fast-paced procurement team supporting large-scale farming and operational activities across Arizona and California. We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Procurement Buyer – Consumables to support the day-to-day purchasing activities that keep our farm and office operations running efficiently. This role offers an excellent opportunity for an individual looking to develop a long-term career in procurement and supply chain operations within the agriculture industry.

Requirements

Associate degree or relevant coursework in Business, Supply Chain, Procurement, or related field preferred.
Prior purchasing, administrative, inventory, or procurement experience is a plus.
Strong organizational skills with close attention to detail.
Professional communication and customer service skills.
Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple requests in a fast-paced environment.
Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications.
Experience with SAP or ERP systems preferred.
Ability to work collaboratively across departments and with vendors.

Responsibilities

Purchase consumable materials and supplies to support daily operations.
Obtain quotes, negotiate pricing, and coordinate deliveries with vendors.
Process purchase requisitions and create purchase orders in a timely manner.
Follow up on open orders, shipment status, and delivery issues.
Maintain accurate purchasing records and order tracking information.
Review vendor invoices and assist with resolving discrepancies.
Communicate professionally with vendors and internal departments.
Support procurement operations through organization, follow-up, and continuous improvement efforts.
Utilize Excel and SAP to support purchasing and reporting activities.
Perform other related duties as assigned.
