We are hiring for a Full-Time Butcher Apprentice with a wage range of $15.00 - $18.00 at our location in Manning, AB.
Requirements
- Positive, can-do personality
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work and thrive in a fast-paced team-oriented environment
- Comfortable working during peak grocery deli hours (i.e. evenings, daytime, weekends, and holidays)
- Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50lbs
- Most importantly, the willingness and enthusiasm for continuous learning and development
Nice To Haves
- Experience with the craft of butchery is an asset
Responsibilities
- Assist butcher team in cutting and wrapping meat products
- Maintain a clean and sanitized work area
- Properly handle and store food by adhering to food safety policies and procedures
- Prepare special orders as per customer’s request
- Handling customer service inquiries and providing a positive customer experience
