A Busser, known as Table Support at Eataly, communicates with and assists food servers to maintain efficient service and create a memorable guest experience. This role reports to the Restaurant Assistant General Manager. The primary responsibilities include maintaining cleanliness and sanitation of the front of house, including all tables, chairs, floors, dining areas, and service stations. The Busser also pours and refills beverages as requested by guests, serves and replenishes bread and olive oil, and communicates with hosts and servers to ensure efficient service and guest satisfaction. They are responsible for removing dirty dishes and silverware from guest tables between courses and after guests leave, clearing tables, and bringing used dishes, silverware, and glassware to the service station. Additionally, the Busser replaces used dishes and silverware for the next course and resets vacated tables, adhering to all standard steps of service.
