About The Position

Major Food Group is hiring Bussers to join our team at Torrisi! Located in the historic Puck Building, Torrisi, a love letter to Little Italy, proudly presents an Italian-American restaurant with an extensive wine program, a New York-Italian cocktail bar and a luxe deli. Chef Rich Torrisi presides over an open kitchen and presents showstopping dishes, with many prepared or finished tableside to engender warm and welcoming hospitality.

Requirements

Professional, articulate, friendly, and punctual
Deep knowledge of food service
Possesses and exhibits the drive to provide exceptional service.
Full time flexible hours are required (able to work days, nights, weekends, holidays)
Must be able to stand/walk for 8 hours; bend, push, pull; lift 30 lbs.
Proficient in computer skills including POS systems, Word and Excel.
2-3 years experience in an upscale restaurant a must

Nice To Haves

Experience in high-volume restaurants a plus

Responsibilities

Provide friendly, courteous and efficient quality presentation of food and beverage service to all guests
Clean, set and re-set tables continuously, assuming responsibility for station, tables and side duties
Serve water, bread and coffee and greet guests by name whenever possible during the course of meal service
Ensure our guests have a high-quality dining experience by serving their food in a timely and accurate manner and rendering a high level of customer service
