About The Position
The Busser is responsible for clearing and resetting tables, serving plates, glasses, and silverware, refilling beverages, and maintaining stock of glassware, dishes, and utensils. This is a casual part-time position with varying hours during weekdays and weekends, typically between 5:00 pm and 11:00 pm.
Requirements
- Applicants must be authorized to work in the US without requiring sponsorship now or in the future.
- Frequently required to stand, walk, sit, climb or balance, and stoop or kneel.
- Must frequently lift and/or move objects up to 30 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move objects up to 50 pounds.
- Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
Nice To Haves
- Maintain floors and chairs near dining tables clean by sweeping and mopping
- Keep designated service stations clean and well stocked
Responsibilities
- Clear tables of dishware and napkins after meals, and return them to the kitchen
- Prepare coffee, tea, and ice water for customers
- Remove dirty utensils and replenish, as needed
- Maintain appropriate stock levels of glassware, silverware, and dishware
- Clean, sanitize, and reset tables after meals
- Refill salt, pepper, and other condiments at tables
- Assist servers with food delivery
- Keep designated service stations clean and well stocked
