About The Position

The Busser ensures that tables are clean, set, and ready for guests in a timely manner, supporting servers and maintaining a smooth dining experience. This role involves clearing and resetting tables, assisting with food and drink service, and upholding the cleanliness and organization of the dining area.

Requirements

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks efficiently.
Strong communication skills and a positive attitude.
Physical stamina to stand, walk, and lift heavy items throughout the shift.
Basic understanding of food safety practices.
Must be at least 16 years old.

Nice To Haves

Previous experience in a food service or customer service role is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

Clear dirty dishes, glassware, and utensils from tables promptly and efficiently.
Wipe down and sanitize tables, chairs, and other surfaces after each use.
Set tables with clean utensils, glassware, napkins, and condiments as needed.
Assist servers with food and drink delivery, ensuring that orders are accurate and delivered promptly.
Refill water glasses, bring extra utensils or napkins, and address other guest needs as requested by the server.
Maintain a clean and organized dining area, including sweeping and mopping floors as needed.
Remove trash and recyclables from the dining area and dispose of them properly.
Work closely with servers, kitchen staff, and management to ensure efficient service and address any issues that arise.
Communicate effectively with team members to coordinate tasks and prioritize duties.
Greet guests warmly and assist with seating arrangements if needed.
Respond to guest inquiries or concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
Adhere to all health and safety regulations and standards, including proper food handling and sanitation procedures.
Report any safety hazards or maintenance issues to management immediately.
