About The Position

The Market Broiler Restaurant brand was launched in Riverside, CA in 1989. The flagship restaurant has earned the coveted Best for Seafood crown for over three decades and is recognized as the The Best Restaurant in Riverside by the readers of the Riverside Press-Enterprise. Since first opening our doors, six additional Market Broiler/MB Grille locations have been opened throughout California. The Fremont and Huntington Beach locations have been designed with a casual neighborhood feel, while our locations in Orange, Ontario, Simi Valley, and Torrance reveal larger, higher traffic versions of Market Broiler with an entertainment vibe. We are currently looking to add to our team in the position of Bus Person. This position requires no previous experience! A Bus Person works primarily in the dining area of a restaurant. They move throughout the dining area attending to diners and assisting waitstaff with their duties.

  • No previous experience required

Responsibilities

  • Removing used plates, glasses, cutlery and napkins from tables after diners are done eating
  • Wiping up water spills, food stains and dirt from tables
  • Straightening out the tablecloth or replacing stained ones
  • Replacing cutlery and glassware in anticipation of new diners
  • Refilling paper napkins, salt and pepper shakers and any other depleted condiments on the dining table
  • Refilling drinking glasses with water
  • Bringing out meal orders if waitstaff are busy
  • Handling cleaning of the dining area at the close of day
