About The Position

The Busser is responsible for supplying the dining room and individual guest tables with clean items, removing dirty dishes, refilling beverages, resetting tables, and providing exceptional customer service. This role requires maintaining a professional environment, adhering to company policies, and attending necessary meetings. Hours are determined by a 24-hour schedule, and the employee is expected to be an outstanding example and credit to Downstream Casino Resort.

Requirements

Must be a minimum of 18 years of age or older upon employment.
Must possess a pleasant personality.
Physically strong and able to balance a service tray on shoulder.
Team Player.
Must present a well-groomed and professional appearance.
Must possess excellent communication skills.
Must be able to read, write, speak and understand English.
Must be able to respond to visual and oral cues.
Ability to write routine correspondence and to speak effectively to the public, employees and customers.
Must have the ability to deal effectively and interact well with the customers and employees.
Must have the ability to resolve problems/conflicts in a diplomatic and tactful manner.
Must be able to be approved for and maintain a valid gaming license.
Work nights, weekends and holidays as required.
Employment is contingent upon a favorable outcome of a background investigation and drug screening.

Responsibilities

Supplies the dining room and individual guest tables with clean chine, silver, glassware, utensils, condiments, and paper supplies as needed.
Removes dirty dishes, soiled linens, glassware and silver from table and counter tops, then carries items back to the dishwashing area.
Refills water glasses and coffee upon request of guests.
Replenishes butter, condiments, coffee, tea and refrigerated items used in the dining room.
Resets the tables and performs other related duties as requested by Food Server.
Makes coffee when necessary.
Provides exceptional customer service to all patrons and communicates in a pleasant, friendly, and professional manner at all times.
Maintains a professional work environment with supervisors and staff.
Meets the attendance guidelines of the job and adheres to regulatory, departmental and company policies.
Attends all necessary training meetings.
Assist in other projects, as directed.
Hours are determined by 24-hour schedule.
