About The Position
The primary responsibility of a Busser is to reset and maintain the Premium Ford & Summit Club in a speedy, professional, and effective manner. This role is responsible for the overall cleanliness of the premium lounge and service areas. The Busser will clear tables after guests finish, take tableware to the dish room, and place silverware, dishes, glassware, etc. in appropriate areas for washing. They will also transport dishes to the premium dish pit at the end of the night. Between settings, the Busser will promptly clean tabletops, chairs, and booths, check and clean the floor as required, and reset and arrange the tabletop. This position requires responding appropriately to guest requests and assisting as needed with running food delivery from the kitchen or resetting the buffet. The Busser will attend mandatory meetings and perform all assigned side work, which may include rolling silverware, restocking coolers, filling candy or popcorn bags, running food, and refilling coolers. Additionally, the Busser will perform general cleaning tasks to adhere to health and safety standards and complete other duties as assigned by their supervisor. This role is only for events in Ford or Summit.
Requirements
- Ability to work long hours and flexible shifts including: nights, weekends and holidays during Nuggets or Avalanche games and Mammoth & summer concerts.
- Must have a high school diploma or equivalency.
- Must be able to succeed in a fast-paced, premium high volume environment.
- Must maintain personal hygiene and well-groomed appearance standards.
- Ability to work independently or in a team setting during set up and execution of service.
- Willingness and drive to exceed guest expectations.
- Ability to effectively listen and take direction from supervisor.
- Must have excellent knowledge of food and beverage preparations, service standards, guest relations and etiquette.
- Experience in the food and beverage industry.
- Ability to transport up to 50lbs on a continuous basis.
- Ability to be standing and walking for long periods for the majority of the shift.
- Ability to lift heavily laden trays of dirty dishes (30lb) and carry 100 feet.
- Ability to push/pull carts up to 50 pounds.
- Ability to work in loud, crowded environments.
- Ability to understand and follow directions and guest requests in English.
- Practice safe work habits, follow all safety policies and procedures and regulations, complete company-wide safety training and any additional job-specific safety training.
- Ability to obtain and maintain TEAM Coalition Alcohol Management Certificate.
