About The Position

Responsible for providing quality food service to guests in a friendly, efficient manner, maintaining and enhancing the quality of our customer service. Bussers are responsible for assisting the servers and their colleagues in delivering orders, cleaning tables, and delivering and filling drinks, and keeping the restaurant clean and orderly. Bussers will work in close collaboration with colleagues and follow established health and safety standards and enhance the service and goals set by Antelope Point Marina.

Requirements

  • Minimum age of 16 years old
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
  • Strong communication and customer service skills
  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 25 lbs for extended periods
  • Willingness to work flexible schedules, including weekends and holidays
  • Must adhere to company dress code and maintain a clean, professional appearance at all times
  • Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.

Nice To Haves

  • High school diploma or GED equivalent preferred.
  • Knowledge of APM marina services and amenities.
  • Guest relation skills which allow calm, effective, polite and professional resolution of guest problems or concerns.
  • Knowledge or ability to be trained in fire extinguisher operation.
  • Knowledge or ability to be trained in ISO/EMS awareness.
  • Knowledge or ability to be trained in employee orientation
  • Knowledge or ability to be trained in hazard communication.
  • Knowledge or ability to be trained in hazardous materials response/respiratory protection.
  • Knowledge or ability to be trained in emergency response.
  • Knowledge or ability to be trained in recyclable materials.
  • Knowledge or ability to be trained in blood borne pathogen awareness.

Responsibilities

  • Greet guests in a polite, positive manner and create an atmosphere of hospitality
  • Clear and clean tables quickly and efficiently after guest use
  • Reset tables according to restaurant standards
  • Refill water, beverages, and assist guests as needed
  • Support servers with food delivery and table maintenance
  • Maintain cleanliness of dining areas, service stations, and restrooms
  • Stock supplies such as napkins, utensils, condiments, and glassware
  • Assist with opening and closing duties
  • Follow all health, safety, and sanitation standards
  • Provide friendly and professional customer service at all times
  • Possess the ability to react productively to other duties as reasonably assigned.
