About The Position

The Busser plays a vital role in maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the dining area to ensure a pleasant and efficient dining experience for all guests. This position involves promptly clearing and resetting tables, assisting servers with refilling beverages, and supporting the overall flow of service during busy periods. The Busser contributes to a welcoming atmosphere by ensuring that the dining environment is tidy, well-stocked, and ready for new guests. This role requires close collaboration with servers, hosts, and kitchen staff to facilitate smooth operations and timely service. Ultimately, the Busser helps uphold the establishment’s standards of hospitality and customer satisfaction through attentive and proactive support.

Requirements

Ability to stand and walk for extended periods during shifts.
Basic understanding of restaurant hygiene and safety standards.
Strong work ethic and willingness to perform physically demanding tasks.
Good communication skills to interact effectively with team members and guests.
Reliable punctuality and ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities

Clear and clean tables promptly after guests have finished dining to prepare for the next seating.
Reset tables with clean linens, silverware, glassware, and condiments according to restaurant standards.
Assist servers by refilling water glasses, delivering bread or other items, and responding to guest requests as needed.
Maintain cleanliness in the dining area, including sweeping floors, wiping down surfaces, and emptying trash receptacles.
Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient service flow and communicate any issues or special guest needs to management.
