The individual must maintain a pleasant, friendly, and welcoming attitude towards all customers. Responsibilities include potentially taking drink orders, serving and refilling drinks, and ensuring all tableware is bussed from the dining room to service stations, keeping them clean and presentable. The role also entails breaking down bus pans, preparing dirty dishware for pickup, and delivering glassware to and from the kitchen. Additional duties include setting rolls on tables, returning items to the pantry, clearing tables and stations, answering questions about food items, and making recommendations. The Busser removes dirty dishes during meals and upon completion of dining, stocks wait stations, bars, and storage areas, and brings ice as needed. They may also assist hosts with seating guests and resetting tables. Rolling silverware, setting up food stations, and preparing dining areas for shifts or parties are also part of the job. The role includes accurately setting up and cleaning up after banquet functions, which involves moving chairs, tearing down tables, and removing dirty dishes and linen. Knowledge of customer alcohol limitations and company policy is required, as is complete knowledge of casino events and promotions. The work area must be kept clean and orderly, and all departmental and company policies must be adhered to ethically. A flexible schedule, including late nights, weekends, and holidays, is necessary, as shifts may change. Building guest relations by talking with customers, making them feel welcome and comfortable, and inviting them back is a key aspect of the role. Other duties as assigned by management are also expected.
